- Castell Coch, meaning "Red Castle" in Welsh, is a stunning 19th-century Gothic Revival castle nestled in the woodlands of Tongwynlais, just north of Cardiff. Burges spared no expense, using opulent materials, intricate carvings, and vibrant murals to decorate the interiors.
